This year’s edition of Creative Business Czechia recorded an extraordinary interest of companies and with 65 applications it was one of the strongest in the history of the competition. The entries cover the entire spectrum of the creative industries: from game development and XR solutions to generative AI in audiovisual to digital fabrication and innovations in marketing and design. The high number of entries confirms that Czech companies see clear business potential in the combination of creativity and innovative technologies.

The road to the finals begins
From a total of 65 entries, 55 selected Creative Tech startups will advance to the online semi-finals. They will have to defend their projects in front of an expert jury of creative industry professionals. The jury, led by Petra Kneslova, Director of the Creative Hub Technology Incubation, will judge not only the innovative approach but also the potential to compete internationally. Only the top 10 will advance to the national finals.

London Tech Week and other valuable prizes await the winners
All ten finalists will be presented on 15 April 2026 in the unique premises of the Gočár Gallery of Pardubice’s Automatic Mills. In addition to prizes from our partners worth tens of thousands of crowns, the overall winner will compete for the main prize: participation in the prestigious London Tech Week 2026.

The winning founder will become part of the official Czech entrepreneurial delegation to London and will gain direct access to the UK startup ecosystem and global investors.

This year’s edition relies on the support of a number of major players, categorised according to their level of involvement and support. The competition is under the auspices of the Pardubice Regionand the Statutory City of Pardubice.

The final Creative Business Czechia competition evening is preceded by the Future Trends in Creative Tech conference , which will be held at the Sféra Education Centre from 3 pm . The programme will offer insights into how Creative Tech is moving from experimental projects to real products and global markets. It will also open the topics of immersive technologies and XR in commercial practice, virtual production, the use of AI in visual creation, the gaming industry as a source of innovation and generative tools in creative processes.

The conference and the competition are organised by CzechInvest and the Creative Hub of the Technology Incubation project.
