Become the Creative Startup of the Year and join us at London Tech Week 2026
Apply for the tenth year of the competition, organized by the Technology Incubation project and the CzechInvest agency.
Pardubice will become the centre of Czech Creative Tech in mid-April. Leading experts and successful companies will present the breadth and economic potential of the sector at the Future Trends in Creative Tech conference and the finals of the 10th Creative Business Czechia competition. There is only one week left for the authors of creative projects to submit their applications, registration closes on Sunday 8 March.
The anniversary edition comes at a time when the Creative Tech sector is a dynamic part of the cultural and creative industries and has firmly established itself in the mainstream of the innovation economy. Projects combining creativity, digital technology and scalable business are now among the fastest growing segments of the startup landscape and are increasingly heading to international markets.
“Creative Tech generates not only new products, but also jobs and export opportunities. The Czech Republic has a strong tradition in design, audiovisual and game development and today’s founders are successfully building on it. However, if they want to succeed globally, they must systematically connect their competences with technology, capital and international partners,” says Petra Kneslová , Director of the Creative Hub of the Technology Incubation Project of the CzechInvest Agency, which is the organiser of the competition.
Therefore, the Creative Business Czechia finals and the Future Trends in Creative Tech conference form a single entity this year. The all-day programme on 15 April 2026 will connect startups, investors, technology companies and representatives of the public sector, creating a space not only for expert debate but also for concrete business opportunities.
Applications for the competition can only be submitted via the official website www.creativebusinessczechia.cz until 8 March 2026.
The winning project will be awarded a place at London Tech Week 2026, one of Europe’s key events for innovation, AI and Creative Tech. It will also become part of an official Czech business delegation organised by CzechInvest in cooperation with the British Embassy in Prague and the Embassy of the Czech Republic in London and will receive support in networking with investors and entering the UK market.
The entire programme will take place on the premises of the Automatic Mills: the final competition evening will take place in the Gočár Gallery, and the Future Trends in Creative Tech conference will be animated by the Sféra educational centre. The programme will offer insights into how Creative Tech is moving from experimental projects to real products and global markets and will open up the topics of immersive technologies and XR in commercial practice, virtual production, the use of AI in visual production, the games industry as a source of innovation and generative tools in creative processes. The conference will also set the context in which the competing projects will be evaluated, with an emphasis on technological quality, market potential and the ability to expand internationally.
This year’s edition relies on the support of a number of major players, categorised according to their level of involvement and support. The competition is sponsored by the Pardubice Region and the Statutory City of Pardubice.
