Become the Creative Startup of the Year and join us at London Tech Week 2026
Ambitious young companies once again have the chance to make themselves visible on the domestic and international startup scene and reach their first investors. This is what the tenth year of the competition organised by the Technology Incubation project and the CzechInvest agency, which this year is being held under the simplified name Creative Business Czechia, offers them. The winner will receive valuable prizes including participation in London Tech Week 2026. Innovative startups can register on the website www.creativebusinessczechia.cz until the end of February.
The representative of the best project will attend London Tech Week 2026, one
of the UK’s most important events for innovation, AI, FinTech and Creative Tech. The global summit attracts thousands of visitors each year from startups, investors and technology experts from over 90 countries. The extraordinary importance of the upcoming edition is evidenced by the list of confirmed personalities, such as Mati Staniszewski, co-founder and CEO of unicorn ElevenLabs, and Anton Osika, founder of progressive tech startup Lovable.
“London Tech Week is the largest technology festival in Europe and a gateway to global capital and strategic partnerships. At last year’s event, investments in excess of £4 billion were announced. In addition, the London tech ecosystem itself is the second strongest in the world with a value of over $600 billion and is an ideal springboard for Czech startups to expand globally,” says Martin Partl, CzechInvest’s UK and Ireland representative.
At the same time, the winning founder will become a member of the Czech business delegation to London organised by CzechInvest together with the British Embassy in Prague
and the Embassy of the Czech Republic in London. CzechInvest’s foreign representation will provide him with full support including connections to the British startup ecosystem and investors. The mission will culminate in an exclusive networking evening for startup founders at the Czech Embassy in London.
A competition that opens doors to the world
Creative Business Czechia offers expert mentoring, valuable contacts and growth support to progressive companies from the entire spectrum of creative industries. This year’s jubilee edition will culminate on 15 April 2026 with the final evening at the Automatický mlýn (Automatic Mills) in Pardubice, where the ten best projects will be presented to an expert jury.
The competition is aimed at innovators across creative fields: from the gaming industry and XR solutions (VR/AR/MR) to 3D printing, digital fabrication, audiovisual and generative AI to architecture, music industry, fashion, design, blockchain or Web3 and innovations in marketing and advertising.
Successful projects from previous years that have gained a reputation at home and around the world include the story-reading app Readmio and the company FaceUp, which helps to detect bullying. Both projects are now ranked in the prestigious Deloitte Fast 50 list of the fastest growing companies for 2025. Success was also celebrated by the Kenka Puppet Game, which became part of the national exposition at EXPO 2025 in Osaka, and by the established startups Graphic Standard, E-CAFE BIKE and Snuggs.
